Once again, we have teamed up with charity organisation Ummah Welfare Trust this winter to raise funds for the poor and needy in Ethiopia.

Over the last few weeks, we have been collecting donations to provide water wells for the people of Ethiopia.

Nearly half of the population in Ethiopia has no access to clean drinking water, and many people must travel at least thirty minutes just to find safe water. Tragically, around 25,000 children die each year from water-borne diseases.

Students were given collection boxes to help gather donations from family and friends.

Inshā’Allāh, one water well will provide clean drinking water for up to 100 families. This project will be a sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) for us and our families. Please donate whatever you can towards this important cause. (Please donate through the link below)
