Every class in the school has a logbook that the teacher uses to record the general level of behaviour, effort and quality of class work and homework produced by the class and individuals during each lesson. Form Tutors also award points for excellent attendance, punctuality, organisation, service to the school, classroom monitors for recycling and healthy lunch. Mashallah points are recorded daily with certificates and prizes awarded to the class with the highest point each half term. The class with the highest point total at the end of the year receives the ‘Logbook Trophy’, which is displayed in the school, and an additional class outing the following year. The pupil’s individual points are also calculated and recorded and the top twenty pupils in the ‘Logbook League’ at the end of the year all receive certificates and prizes for their achievements.
