Year 6 were awarded their certificates and prizes by Anna Portch, Hackney Waste and Recycling Education Officer, at a ceremony held at the school on March 5th 2008.

Year 6 gave an exciting presentation on reusing and recycling which will form part of their portfolio of work to be presented for the LSEA later in the summer. The winner of the award will receive a prize of £2000. We wish Year 6 all the best. We would also like to thank Mr Khan and Mr Sarfaraz for their hard work throughout the programme

This Term, Year 6 has also attended the Hackney Transport Citizenship Scheme at Hackney Museum. The aim of the Scheme was to promote safe travel on London’s busy public transport. The activities help to improve children’s confidence, encouraging them to use public transport and local amenities. The pupils enjoyed the activities and found them to be beneficial.
