Re: RE-Adjustments in School Day Timings for Monday to Thursday (IMPORTANT)

Dear Respected Parent(s) and Carer(s),

Assalamauailaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu

We pray this letter finds you in the best of health and Imaan, Ameen.

Alhamdulillah we have begun the new academic year well with the full opening of all pupils full time in school from day one. This in itself is a great achievement due to the dedication of Management and staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure the education of our children is not compromise, and our pupils are back on track to progress academically. Substantial changes have been made to accommodate the safe opening of the school with extensive work to the school building to increase classroom sizes, additional facilities for washing hands and equipment for safety. The School has also invested in new IT equipment to be able to live stream lessons and setup a pupil learning platform for continuation of education should we need with any future disruption to school closures. Inshallah, we will continue to strive to fulfill our responsibilities to provide a quality education for our pupils in these challenging times. We would like to thank all Parents and Carers for the cooperation and support shown throughout this difficult time without which it would not have been possible. We pray that this continues throughout these unprecedented times.

As you are aware of the current situation with an increase in infection rates locally & nationally, we have reviewed our current setting and would like to make changes from Monday 28 September 2020. This is to ensure we can continue to provide full time schooling to our pupils and sustain staffing levels as well as minimise further any risk of virus spreading.

From Monday 28 September, we will be joining the Tutor period and Salaah time. This will mean that pupils in Year 7, 8 and 9 will finish school at 14.35 and Year 10 & Year 11 at 15.35. These arrangements will be in constant review and until further notice remain. We will advise you of any further changes needed as and when required. Please kindly make any arrangements necessary to accommodate these changes. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

We would like to remind all parents that pupils arrive to school between 08.05 – 08.15 to ensure no overcrowding and allow all to settle down to the start the day. Can all parents and Carers ensure that they have once again gone through the Pupil & parent guidance Plan with their son that fully explains our daily routines in school. It is imperative that all pupils follow the code of conduct fully at this very important time. All pupils and parents must abide by these procedures to ensure the health and safety of the whole school community. The School request the duas and full cooperation of all parents during this challenging time.

Please do contact us should you need to discuss any aspects of the arrangements.
