Al Isharah; who are the UK’s leading charity that caters for deaf Muslims in the UK had held assembly at our school. They work with the Deaf community on a daily basis to make services and resources accessible for them, to cultivate independent thinking, to create exciting and rewarding opportunities for them to share experiences with other young Deaf people and gain access to positive role models. Al Isharah also works in partnership with Youth Clubs, Youth Groups, Schools, faith based Institutions and the local councils.

We also had Mawlana Umar Bhoola (who is visually impaired) visited us on the day and gave our pupils a small talk on the challenges he faces and how he over comes them.
